A special "Thursday Afternoon Edition" of TRSS, as we courteously step aside for the magic
of creative book-keeping... AKA Captain Steve's BACK TO SCHOOL AUCTION. The bargains were out of this world! I bought the "Kevin and Bean Certificate": 8 Laughs for 30 Jokes. And a free list of celebrity birthdays. But none of that material on THIS episode.
You're welcome.

NEXT WEEK: We serve as the soundtrack to FRY FEST: A Celebration of ALL that is Hawkeye, as we gear up for Saturday's return of Hawkeye Football to Kinnick. Get ready to cheer, and we'll see you there!
We observe the first anniversary of The Robb Spewak Show on this episode (the actual DAY of the first show was 21 August 2009. I say this because I know that you care desperately). Ever the jokester (a merry prankster, if you will...), I started the show by explaining how NOTHING will change in year number 2 of TRSS. Then, I proceeded to play the actual TOP RECORDS from the Billboard Charts of that very week. ACTUAL TOP 40 BYOOZICK! I am pretty sure that the chatroom wanted to KILL me, but it was fun playing the records of today, even if just for a few moments (and my daughter Julia LOVED it!). Never fear however, things resumed normalcy in hour two.
You're welcome.
I would be remiss if I didn't thank each and every one of you that listened to even just a few moments of Robbradio in year one. It is so much fun to do and I am blessed that there is an audience for it. You guys are the best. And Steve Bridges is my hero.

Most of what you hear this week is not the mainstream Elvis material that you are accustomed to hearing, which makes this episode a little extra special.
